Elder @Ulisses__Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles offered a welcome at the Sala São Paulo, which is a train station converted to a concert hall. There are more concerts this weekend. Twelve more songs have been added to “Hymns for Home and Church.” The songs include several that have themes from the Old Testament, which is this year’s “Come, Follow Me” study. This is the sixth batch of published songs, making 72 in the new hymnbook. Following an outbreak of violence across Mexico, the Mexico Area presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sent a message to Church members inviting all to pray and fast for peace and harmony in the country. The area presidency shared comforting words from the Savior and President Dallin H. Oaks.
